Timetable & Study Strategy

The timetable is designed to ensure three complete rounds of syllabus coverage.

  • Essential Round: Concept-focused questions.
  • Breakthrough Round: Advanced application and intelligent guessing.
  • Simulation Round: Exact UPSC exam pattern and difficulty.

Time Gap – Essential Round: 10 days between tests (with limited exceptions for festivals and revision tests).

Time Gap – Breakthrough Round: Reduced to 7 days (except GS-4 Mains). Includes coverage of India Year Book, Economic Survey & Budget.

Before Simulation Round: Special classes on prelims strategy, scoring techniques, and exam temperament.

Simulation Round: Alternate tests will include GS + CSAT on the same day to replicate the UPSC exam environment.

Mains Simulation: Conducted in two phases – before and after the UPSC CSE Prelims.

  • NCERTs: New NCERTs will be followed unless stated otherwise.
  • Economy: Latest edition of Ramesh Singh.
  • Modern India: Spectrum (latest) or Bipin Chandra.
  • Current Affairs: Covered between tests; previous months included where required.
  • Map Work: Political and physical maps with emphasis on places in news.

Important places in news and map-based practice guidance will be shared periodically.
