UPSC CSE 2027 | Integrated Prelims cum Mains and Mentorship Program

MARG, Mentorship and Right Guidance, is an integrated Prelims cum Mains and Mentorship Program designed for aspirants preparing for UPSC CSE 2027. The program combines a structured test series, daily answer writing support, personal mentorship, regular discussions, detailed test discussion videos, and a three-round preparation strategy to help students build clarity, consistency and confidence throughout their preparation journey.
The program is designed to support aspirants from the foundation stage to advanced exam simulation, ensuring that every major area of the UPSC syllabus is revised, tested, evaluated, discussed and improved in a planned manner.

Each GS and Current Affairs Prelims test will have 100 questions, while CSAT tests will have 80 high-quality UPSC-standard multiple-choice questions. These tests are designed to help students strengthen conceptual clarity, improve accuracy, practise elimination techniques and develop confidence for the actual UPSC Prelims examination.
Detailed Prelims Test discussion videos will be conducted by Prelims experts. These discussions will focus on conceptual clarity, elimination techniques, question-solving methods, common mistakes and the right approach to solving UPSC-standard MCQs.
The Mains test series includes:
The Mains tests will include both sectional and full-length tests across all four General Studies papers. GS-1, GS-2 and GS-3 have 3 full-length tests each. GS-4 has 6 full-length tests, helping students improve conceptual understanding, answer-writing ability, content structuring, time management and overall exam readiness.
Detailed Mains Test discussion videos will be conducted by the respective subject faculty members. These discussions will help students understand the demand of each question, improve answer structure, enrich content, use relevant keywords and present answers effectively in the UPSC Mains examination.

GS 4: 6 full-length tests
Note: Each GS1, GS2 and GS3 full-length test will include 20 questions: 10 questions of 10 marks and 10 questions of 15 marks. GS4 full-length tests will include 19 questions.
Together, the sectional and full-length GS Mains tests make up 41 GS Mains Tests, along with 9 Essay Tests, taking the total Mains test count to 50.
MARG 2027 2.0 follows a structured three-round approach to ensure progressive improvement.
1. Basic Round
The Basic Round focuses on building strong conceptual foundations. Students will be tested on the core areas of the syllabus so that they can identify gaps early and develop clarity in fundamental topics.
2. Intermediate Round
The Intermediate Round helps students apply their knowledge to moderately difficult and advanced questions. This round strengthens analytical ability, answer-writing skills, problem-solving ability and revision discipline.
3. Advanced Round
The Advanced Round is designed to simulate the actual UPSC examination environment. It prepares students to handle different levels of difficulty, unexpected question patterns and exam-like pressure in both Prelims and Mains.
The Basic and Intermediate rounds of Mains tests will be completed before UPSC Prelims 2027. The Advanced Round will be conducted after Prelims 2027.
Students enrolled in MARG 2027 will receive personalized guidance from experienced UPSC toppers and mentors. The mentorship support will help students identify their strengths, work on weak areas, improve preparation strategy and maintain consistency throughout the course.
This guidance will be especially useful for students who need direction in revision planning, test performance analysis, answer improvement and overall exam strategy.
Evaluated answer copies will be uploaded within 3 to 4 days from the date of answer copy submission.
Students will receive detailed feedback with actionable suggestions to improve answer structure, content quality, presentation, keyword usage, analytical depth and overall performance in Mains answer writing.
Students will also get regular evaluation support for answers written under the Secure Initiative.
In addition to scheduled Mains tests, students will get access to the Insights Secure Program, where they can write daily answers and upload them for evaluation. This will help students develop consistency in answer writing and gradually improve their presentation and thinking process.
Mains Test Discussions will be conducted by the respective Subject Faculty Members. These discussions will help students understand the demand of each question, improve answer structure, enrich content, use relevant keywords and present answers effectively in the UPSC Mains examination.
Prelims Test Discussions will be conducted by Prelims experts. These discussions will focus on conceptual clarity, elimination techniques, question-solving methods, common mistakes and the right approach to solving UPSC-standard GS MCQs.
Zoom discussions will be conducted for upcoming tests with faculty members and mentors. These sessions will help students understand important areas, clarify doubts and approach tests with better preparation.
In addition to Zoom discussions, detailed test discussion videos will also be provided to help students analyse their performance and improve their preparation strategy.
