The Kannada and English qualifying language papers and the selected optional subject papers will be conducted without evaluation.

Students enrolled in the STEP UP 2026 Mains Writing Programme and have cleared UPSC CSE Prelims 2026 will receive free mentorship support until the UPSC CSE Mains Examination 2026.
The mentorship support will help students:
Students must compulsorily upload a valid UPSC CSE 2026 admit card to become eligible for evaluation.
Answer scripts of students who do not upload their admit card will not be evaluated.
This condition applies to the evaluation of Essay and General Studies Papers I, II, III and IV.
